Traditional Marketing vs. Internet Marketing

As time goes on, Internet marketing is progressing because of the effectiveness and the demand from online marketers all over the world. Basically, Internet marketing is the use of Internet to advertise, sell goods and services. It includes pay per click advertising, banner ads, e-mail marketing, affiliate marketing, interactive advertising, search engine marketing (including search engine optimization) and blog marketing.

Unlike in traditional marketing such as print, radio and TV advertisement, Internet marketing is much more economical method to use. Why? Because in Internet marketing, it is not only giving information’s about the products and services that a company is offering. But it can also serve as a tool for consumers to purchase a product or service online any time they want, not unlike in traditional marketing that only focus on providing information. Apart from that, It can also expand from local market to both national and international markets because of the availability of the Internet.

Title for the Web Page

In a web site, there should be always a Meta Tag for the title of every page because some people are defined by the title of what your site is all about. Why are we doing this? Because of so much information’s we process in our mind, we have to categorized it by associating the content in a quick referencing way. For the method of a search engine, when it already crawls the page it tells what the page is suppose to be about.

This is the reason why creating the title in the page is critical to rank well on major search engines. In getting the title, just always keep the reader in mind first; it is because a reader may never enter that phrase and for that you will lose the targeted traffic you were trying to reach. Sometimes the phrases work out well for both the user and search engine in that case, success is easily too achieved.

Internet Marketing || the truth about E-Commerce

E-Commerce is one of the components of Internet Marketing and the exact analogy for this is “marketplace in the Internet”. It consists primarily of distributing, buying, selling, marketing and servicing of products or services over electronic system. For the IT industry, it is an electronic business application aimed at commercial transactions that involves in online fund transfer and online transaction processing.

The good thing about e-commerce is that it brings sufficiency of work done in the market research and analysis between producer and consumer. One problem that can occur is the failure to understand what the costumers really want. Even a product or service has a sound value of proposition; it can fail if the producer does not understand customer habit, expectation and motivation. The way to overcome this potential problem is by proactive and focused marketing research just as traditional producer may do.
